Review :
Facing facts, Steep Slope Sliders can be considered as the best Saturn and maybe the best (32-bit) snowboard game ever. Coming straight from the arcades this STV based game was released on Sega Saturn by the end of 1997 in Japan. Its arcade pedigree ensures a perfect playability, the L/R triggers are used to control the board axial moves making the game easy to master. The all point of this game is about its INCREDIBLE gameplay, single words can easily defines it: it is fun, it is fast, it is gorgeous. The game starts with 4 riders and 4 tracks but there are many more to unlock. Steep Slope Sliders has a high replay value wich will lead you to ride an ufo, or a dog on the milky way!!! There is so much to say about it as long as each rider has its own style and each track is tought with many ways to work with it. This is a trully complete game: it is nice, it sounds terribly good, it includes a replay editor, an intelligent clock system and loads of easter eggs. For sure it is a really nice pick.
