Review:
This game is a standard side-scrolling shooter in which you must rescue the kidnapped members of the band Aerosmith. Released in arcade by Midway, it was ported to Saturn by Acclaim. The arcade game was fun and popular, but the console version was poorly developped and does NOT support the virtua gun. WTF ?? A gun shooting game not compatible with the virtua gun ? OK, what else ? You have too many enemies to shoot if you don't want to be hit (don't forget, you must cover all the screen moving the cross with your control pad) and you must shoot out every pieces of the bosses to kill them (I find this too stupid, try to shoot out a tiny piece with your control pad when the boss is always moving). So, definitely, Revolution X is a bad conversion on Sega Saturn.
